Ingredients

With juice:

1 cup fruit juice

2 cups sugar

With fruit:

1 cup of fruit

1 cup of water

2 cups of sugar

Directions

Combine juice and sugar in medium sauce pan.

Bring to a boil.

Let boil until sugar is completely dissolved, then turn down to a simmer. Simmer to desired consistency.

For drink syrup, it can be left thin. For syrup you intend to drizzle onto something, like cheesecake, it needs to coat a spoon and not immediately run back into the pan.

Let cool before putting in a bottle.
